This is a tough subject to cover because of the raw emotions and polarisation of the debate. People have been unable to agree on the most basic of facts, even when confronted with video or other empirical evidence. This is an essay written in a polemical tone rather than an academic paper though references, media, and data are provided at critical points and as a collated list at the end to aid the open-minded reader to check for themselves. My handling of the statistics and data may not have been perfect, but it is done in good faith.
Accusations of “racism” and/or Islamophobia are never far from this debate, and I have no doubt the accusation will again be pushed my way. Thankfully, I am married to someone who immigrated the right way and is non-white, and most people who know me to any depth know that both of these are false accusations even if they disagree very strongly with my political positions. Only read if you are interested in being challenged by what you read.
1O God, foreigners have invaded your chosen land; they have polluted your holy temple and turned Jerusalem into a heap of ruins. 2 They have given the corpses of your servants to the birds of the sky; the flesh of your loyal followers to the beasts of the earth. 3 They have made their blood flow like water all around Jerusalem, and there is no one to bury them.
—Psalm 79:1-3 (NET)
Many US-observers and news media around the world have rejoiced at the perceived turmoil encompassing the Trump administration over its attempt to enforce federal immigration law, those with late-stage TDS[1] think they have finally won big, they are in a state of euphoria as “We the People” have bravely fought Trump’s Federal Government’s fascist “Gestapo” (otherwise known as Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers, or ICE agents); we, not you, are the decent folk who are looking out for our immigrant neighbours and our community. With the “cold-blooded murder” of two “innocent protestors exercising their First Amendment Rights,” Alex Pretti and Renee Nicole Good, the masked agitators are now being eulogised by fellow travellers in mainstream media and Hollywood as “The Resistance”, and indeed they are an emerging, national paramilitary force.
They are highly coordinated, well-funded, and organised with an almost military level of precision: with Signal chats, radio dispatch services, and city-wide “spotters” to frustrate the federal law enforcement efforts within Minneapolis, the chief city of the state of Minneapolis.[2] Within minutes, hundreds of “mostly peaceful” (i.e., sometimes violent) “protestors” can be deployed to interfere with an ICE operation. Though this unrest is primarily focussed on immigration enforcement, they are almost exclusively white, college-educated, graduate liberal progressives (known as “socialists” in most other parts of the world), with their keffiyehs, and free Palestine bumper stickers and flags, you have a feeling we have seen them before tearing up the college campuses—this is just another stepping stone to the revolutionary destruction of a corrupt imperialist oppressor otherwise known as the United States, and the wider deconstruction and destruction of the West.
The first thing, as a matter of policy, that should be said about this is that you cannot, ahead of a full investigation, possibly understand whether or not the Good/Pretti killings were “cold-blood murder” or “officer justified killings.” You do not have the legal expertise, domain knowledge, and/or training to assess the many different video angles that are now out there, or to judge whether the officers perceived themselves to be under threat to a reasonable degree (that is the Supreme Court standard.) Even now, the initial hagiographic accounts of the martyr couple have proved untrue as additional evidence has come to light regarding the conduct of the individuals involved in both tragic homicides.
Pretti was involved in a violent altercation with officers 10 days before he was shot, the video of that incident makes it clear he was armed then and wanted a violent confrontation. He had an additional magazine on the day he was killed, it seemed he was prepared, even desired, more violence. Similarly, Renee’s ex brother-in-law has already said she had no business being where she was and it seems Renee was mentally unable to look after all her children, her older sons live with their biological father.[3] In my view her “wife”[4] was the person most responsible for her death (she features prominently in videos of the event), she encouraged Renee to ignore the direction of federal officers and encouraged her to drive away, striking the officer and causing him to unholster and discharge his weapon. Her “wife” wasted no time in lawyering up with an expensive, civil rights lawyer on the back of a GoFundMe that had raised $1.5 million in a matter of days.[5]
Tragic as these killings were, it was clear these were not passive observers as permitted by the law and Constitution, but trained agitators intent on disrupting federal operations which is itself a felony offence with up to 10-years jailtime. Someone has made the observation that if the feds had not been so lenient with Pretti in the first altercation, he would not have been there to die in the second. It is utterly irresponsible for say the chief of Minneapolis police to come out and tacitly admit as much when he said, “even if this turns out to be an officer justified killing [the community does not care].” Nevertheless, surely, you as chief of police, really should care because otherwise you have anarchy and mob rule on your streets,[6] it is not what you “feel” about a law or an incident, but the objective assessment of it.
The chief of police went on to make the further point that he could not police the city because most of the police had left following the “summer of love” in 2020 post-George Floyd when rioters were burning down Minneapolis. That is not an excuse but a political description of what caused the problem, the direct result of the “defund the police” campaign, and the refusal of the local politicians to stand with their police in the face of Marxist, revolutionary violence. Rather, his role should have been to call out the violence for what it was and lobby the mayor/governor to deploy the national guard, if necessary, to ensure order. Then to state exactly what the required standards of conduct were to maintain lawful, constitutionally permitted, “observation” of ICE activities by protestors.
The second issue that should be addressed is that on the face of it, the sudden outbreak of chaos in this particular locality should be surprising, Minneapolis is a relatively small American city with just 500 000 residents, LA has around 4 million and New York 8.5 million, and ICE operations in those localities have not produced this ferocious level of opposition. Such public unrest has not been seen since the 2020 post-George Floyd BLM/Antifa movements who have Marxist, revolutionary, political violence built-into their DNA. There are also the fellow-travellers within the pop-culture at large where we have now seen celebrity pronouncements of support and the tears of late-night TV-hosts streamed for the world to see; Bruce Springsteen has even written a protest song, “Streets of Minneapolis” [7] and Lady Gaga stopped her Japanese concert to lecture and instruct her Japanese audience.[8]
A third issue is that of the lawlessness and corruption of Minneapolis city and Minnesota state, this created the conditions suitable for the manifestation of the issues we noted above. The governor, ex-vice-Presidential candidate Tim Walz, and Minneapolis mayor[9] Jacob Frey have assumed postures of active non-cooperation with the federal authorities with the latter declaring Minneapolis as a “sanctuary city” within Walz’ declaration of the Minnesota state itself as a sanctuary state.[10] Frey, noted for his weeping whilst holding the casket of George Floyd, went on national TV to tell ICE to “get the f*** out of Minneapolis” and Walz compared the unrest to Minnesota’s stand to the actions precipitating the Civil War.[11] It is grist for the mill to compare the federal agents of ICE to the Nazi Gestapo, with Walz even going as far as to say that the story of Anne Frank will be rewritten for Minnesotan children.[12]
This is remarkable on the face of it because ICE is, in fact, just federal agents enforcing federal laws passed by Congress. That a state or a city is actively refusing to comply and assist them is likely contrary to the “Supremacy Clause” of the Constitution,[13] with such opposition legitimately described as insurrectionary—some of the rhetoric coming from political Left is now openly arguing for revolutionary activity. It did not take long to find protestors and agitators online shouting in their bedrooms and living rooms that “the time for peaceful protest is over, get your guns!” Unfortunately for them, as some have found out, this is not protected speech under the First Amendment but incitement which is a crime for which you are likely to do time.[14] The smarter ones have quickly deleted their social media, videos, and have lawyered up.
However, the First Amendment right to protest does indeed run deep in the American psyche and has a firm Constitutional pedigree, one late night host quoting passages from the preamble to the Constitution made the case that the people can rebel and organise revolutionary activity to eject a corrupt government. Formally, I can agree with that and have argued so elsewhere,[15] but he committed a basic category error in his logic, his reasoning is illegitimate in this instance. What in fact is playing out in Minnesota, which looks like it may well play out shortly in California as a similar pattern emerges, is that the “corruption” is not primarily on the federal side of the equation (Trump has been busy, with some success, in fumigating that swamp) but firmly on the sides of both the State and City level political legislatures and governments; their brazen facilitation of illegal immigration for purely naked political purposes, has been exposed in glorious Technicolor for the whole of America to see.[16]
So, that brings us to the most important part of our discussion we introduced earlier: the methodology of the Left. The methodology of the Left, in fact more specifically the new, Internationalist Left, has now in its most important component parts, been forced out into the open. The motivation and agenda of these “radicals” who have been largely clandestine or restrained and hidden for decades, quietly embedding Marxism and revolution within the educational and cultural institutions of the West, is here being forcibly exposed, where it had previously been the stuff of conspiracy theories. Importantly, this is not just a national American strategy, but is replicated throughout the West, with one simple aim “to burn it all down” and replace it with a new international order.
This “burn it all down” was a phrase I heard on an interview with a young, white radical at a BLM/Antifa rally in 2020. When the interviewer cautiously pointed out that what they wanted to burn down was their very own protected right to protest and their own freedom which at that very instant they were exercising, all the interviewee could say was “well, allegedly, we are free.” No, believe me, you are free—try being an Iranian doing what you are doing in Tehran now, the Guards will shoot you dead as they have done to 30 000 of their own countrymen (the most conservative estimate as of Jan 2026) during the current wave of unrest with their Islamic rulers. It would be amiss not to note the absolute silence of those screaming “genocide” at the loss of around 70 000 Palestinian lives during two years of the Gaza conflict. The Iranians could well do the same in a matter of weeks.
The noise and ferocity of the insurrection in Minnesota is the realisation that the wheels could come off this revolutionary agenda by exposing the template of State corruption that funds their revolutionary activity. The illegitimate pipeline of corruption exposed in Minnesota is indeed brazen and startling. First, the American taxpayers of the State have had billions stolen and laundered from State level Medicare and Medicaid social programmes, funnelled into the immigrant Somali community (sometimes with NGO intermediaries), who had built a network of fake daycare businesses for the single purpose of leveraging these funds for parochial Somali advancement.[17] Calling them “fake” is not too strong a characterisation; after citizen journalist’s Nick Shirley’s exposure of the questionable status of the businesses, funding was unilaterally halted by the federal government.[18] Not a single business affected by this withdrawal of funding has come forward to prove that they are a legitimate business though one did theatrically have a news conference where they claimed their business was broken into and their records stolen. We saw a filing cabinet in the office and were shown a hole in the wall, obviously no cloud backups there! Call me cynical but, “if you believe that I have a snow making factory in Alaska to sell you…”
Second, the fact that the fraud was perpetrated within an immigrant community is one of the most significant variables here and one of the reasons why it is politically supercharged. The facilitation of legal and illegal immigration into the US, mirrored in most Western European and Australasian nations over the last 40-years, has caused, and is causing a major demographic shift. This in turn has pushed the balance of national politics leftward and towards the internationalist, globalist programme, the Left has coopted these immigrants to their cause. This is the master plan that has been exposed through this scandal and what is behind the extreme violence. Though this concept of “demographics is destiny”[19] was a well-argued academic concept during the 2000s and a well-articulated feature of Leftist thinking where the colonised would finally extract retribution from the colonisers by the reverse colonisation of the colonisers’ homelands, talk of a “grand replacement theory” was branded a conspiracy theory and “racist” in the Biden years. As we all know, being called a “racist” had become the largest sin that could be committed in the modern West since the time of Obama.
Thus, Biden, or more likely the politburo in his absence through diminished mental function, had explicitly characterised Trump’s 2016 sealing of the border by 472 different executive orders during his first term as “racist.” His administration set about reversing them at a pace, issuing an enormous 296 new orders[20] in its first year to usher in a new era of “compassion for the stranger.”
We should pause and consider this phrase “compassion for the stranger” because it is a biblical quote that frequently appears in Leviticus and is used by some to provide a biblical justification for embracing unrestricted immigration. As per usual, the failure to consider the whole context here causes this erroneous inference. Leviticus indeed tells us we “should make room for the stranger,” and that “there is one and the same law for the stranger and the native born.” However, it also makes clear that the stranger is committed to integrating into the culture of the host nation, not creating a self-contained enclave or ghetto. The “one law for the stranger and the native born” is as much a responsibility as it is a “right.” That is, in modern immigration discussion parlance, the biblical model is a “melting pot”, not a “salad bowl”—the salad bowl is the modern metaphor for identity-based politics in immigration. In contrast, the melting pot was the intent of the American founders, who based it on the correct interpretation of the scriptures of Leviticus (the Liberty Bell was also engraved with a scripture from the book), all could come to the United States but that was to be an American first.
In other words, for the Biden cabal, the border was now “open again for business” and “open” it certainly was. There was a literal flood across the American Southern border, people could not get in quick enough from all around the world; piles of discarded passports were left next to holes or gaps in the border fence, the immigrants would then go to locations where they knew the Border patrol would pick them up, they would be processed, and provisionally admitted into the interior where with a court date for a hearing pushed in some cases to a decade in the future, they could disappear into immigrant communities of their own choice (courtesy of a free flight or transit) and the black economy if they so desired to work.
However, in some states and cities no such subterfuge was necessary, they advertised themselves as “sanctuary cities” and fresh off the complimentary bus-ride or American Airlines flight, you would be issued work authorisation on arrival, as well as subsistence allowances, accommodation, and three meals a day. Most were admitted on the tacit understanding that they would never appear for their hearings and would not be pursued. The abuse of the CBP app was another scandal, at least 459 000 illegal aliens from “inadmissible countries” (like Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela, and Nicaragua who are normally ineligible to apply to enter the US on “national security” grounds) were “paroled” into the country, bypassing normal port of entry checks, and processed into the country simply with a ‘Notice To Appear’ at some future date.[21]
One of the biggest scandals of this Biden era was the handling of “undocumented minors” (unaccompanied children to the rest of us). Most of the identity and verification requirements were relaxed or unenforced. All that was required was for some “sponsor” to be registered as the destination for the child, and they would be shipped to the target address. No genetic test was done, and the receiver did not even have to pick the child up personally. There were over 300 000 children “lost” in this manner, this was effectively government facilitated trafficking of children—recently thousands have been traced by the Trump administration found working illegally on cannabis farms and, unsurprisingly, in the pornography and sex-trades.[22]
One of the reasons this is so culturally impactful and politically significant is that Congressional seats are allocated based on absolute population in a district. No discrimination is made between legal or illegal, and combined with voter registration for local jurisdictions regardless of immigration status practised in many Democratic controlled states, this provides a powerful means of consolidating political power. Although federal law in most US-states (and many other Western nations) mandate that only citizens can vote in national elections, states and cities can allow non-citizens to vote on local issues. However, in practice, some states have also issued non-citizens with “official” IDs, driving licenses etc that are so close to the “citizen” versions that if they were required to show them, would appear to be government issued IDs for citizens. They are clearly designed to masquerade as government IDs to facilitate illegal voting in national elections, and to compromise other activities legally limited to citizens (such as the claiming of social security benefits).[23] Some states, notably Minnesota again, have publicly declared these IDs provide a “path to citizenship.”
In some cases, the subversion of federal voting law is blatant, there are jurisdictions which have banned officials from requesting IDs when someone is voting at any time.[24] All you need is an address.[25] This is because it is “racist”—apparently black and brown people do not possess sufficient intelligence to obtain an official ID—and inequitable—they do not have professions or a social position where they would ever be required to have a government ID. Of course, I am being tongue in cheek here. In my view, it is actually insulting and explicitly racist to argue for this policy for black and brown people. You could argue equally (as, unfortunately, some do) that the same concession should be made for rural white folks (not considered by Democrats as the sharpest tools in the box) and married women who would have to prove their change in name—both a birth certificate and a marriage license![26]
All these seem obvious attempts to leverage the illegal immigrant vote for political purposes not just at the local level, but at the national level. That completes the circle and explains the obsession amongst the Western Leftist elites to promote immigration by all and every means necessary to usher in the new post-national age. Justin Trudeau, onetime premier of Canada made the statement “Canada was the first post-nation state” country when he re-assumed office for the session after re-election in 2019 during the “peak woke” period, he advertised the world over for immigrants to come to Canada. Consequently, Canada now has an enormous problem with radical Islam because many radical Muslim immigrants took him up on his offer. The same can be said for most European countries, including my own which have seen major incidents of Islamic violence. This was an expression of the new orthodoxy that “anyone from anywhere in the world can choose to live wherever they want,” a sentiment also explicitly expressed by Michelle Wu, the present mayor of Boston, Mass.
This is the “grand replacement theory” in practise in the US and this occurs in my home of Britain too. The British government under communist-lite Starmer, even has a special section on their website where action is threatened against those who propagate such “racist” theories. Tweeting any sentiments that might suggest mass immigration is Islamising and working against the interest of the native British, is “Islamophobic”[27] and likely to get you imprisoned in Starmer’s Britain—this is not a small problem, hundreds have been arrested over their social media posts, and many have done jailtime over it. The people are now reacting strongly throughout Europe, and the rise of Farage’s Reform UK and other populist Right leaders, has finally provoked the mainstream European leaders to look as if they are taking a harder line on immigration after they have facilitated millions upon millions of immigrants, primarily from Muslim nations.
This is an act of political expedience and self-preservation for them, not principle, but for the first time ever, the French and English navies are intercepting boats to disrupt and prevent crossings rather than just providing a lift to shore for these economic migrants who are sure to claim asylum at the first opportunity. The vast majority of these “refugee” migrants have not been “families” but young, single men of fighting age.[28] Some have argued that we have imported an army, and the scenes of radical HAMAS supporting hordes marching across the bridges of our most famous cities, bringing them to a halt for everyone else on a Saturday afternoon, is that army we have welcomed to our own destruction.
The conflict in Minnesota makes it really clear just how over the target the replacement concept is. The Left has made its playbook clear, in return for the laundering of American tax-payer funds to you as an immigrant community, your only requirement is to vote at election time for your benefactors. There is estimated to be between 80 000 and 100 000 Somali residents (new immigrants and the naturalised) in the Minneapolis-St Paul metropolitan area, and, in common with many Islamic communities around the globe, they tend to vote as a bloc in line with the instructions of the clan or community leaders, for those politicians that are said to best “represent their interests.” The relationship is a reciprocal one—any politician who wants to be successful services this community, courts this community, and acts in the interests of that community, that they might stay in power. Nothing is done that will alienate this community. A very similar pattern occurs across Europe; large cities now have large immigrant communities that tend to vote “Left”. In the 2024 election, the Labour Party’s strategy in the UK was to focus on these high population areas, and by securing those votes were able to offset their lukewarm or non-existent support in the non-urban areas. They obtained 412 of the 650 ‘seats’ (63%) in the parliament with just 33.7% of the vote; an inditement if ever there was of the British electoral system. [29]
The reality of this is particularly vivid for me, I was the last white person in my street in an area that became Muslim. In a space of just 18-months I had watched the last few remaining white families move out and Muslim Asians move in. I was the last holdout not wishing to surrender ownership in an area in which I was born and felt a special connection to. However, the locus of political power had moved and there was reverse racism in the correct technical sense against the white remnant—the local councillors were Muslim, and when there was a serious issue with some locals who took exception to me saying they would need to wait 20-minutes for me to finish my short lunchbreak back from work before I could move my car parked on an unrestricted public street outside of my own flat (but on a local Mosque day), both the councillors and the police simply gave me one piece of advice, “move out.” To emphasise the point, for two consecutive nights following my failure to comply, the local Muslim mafia disconnected parts of the car from the body to “encourage me” to move immediately when requested.[30] I also witnessed “ballot harvesting” by local activists which is far more a bigger deal in the UK because postal voting is only permitted where there are extenuating circumstances. The organisation necessary to get a community to register for postal votes and then to harvest them, was an impressive achievement by the activists seeking to advantage their community by getting into power those that are promoted to work on their behalf.
Thus, it is notable that some now jailed Somali conspirators were prominent donors to the senior Democratic politicians, pictured with them at fundraisers. Even more scandalous was that the current Attorney General of the State, the chief law officer, was caught on tape explaining to these same conspirators how he would act to shield them from investigation.[31] He remains in office, the clear implication being that the governor’s office was complicit in the conspiracy, though governor Walz has now abandoned his re-election bid and declared further that he will never run for public office again; one might consider this a shrewd move seeking to mitigate any potential prosecution by voluntarily abandoning the field of battle before you are humiliated. If ever there was an implicit admission of guilt, that was it. It truly is astonishing that the entire apparatus and government of the State have been compromised to maintain the dominance of one political party but that speaks to the discipline and mission of the Left: to maintain political power at all costs.[32]
This is exemplified in the ins and outs of the dynamics surrounding how the conspiracy with the Somali community operated, it was articulated in masterful fashion by the Somalian refugee, Ayaan Hirsi Ali.[33] She talks about the clan-based culture of the community, who view their own self-interest as supreme: if the American system is staffed by those stupid enough to give them tax-payer money, and who will rollover whenever you cry “it is racist to ask me to justify these millions you have paid me in the last two years” then it is the duty of the Somali community to take the money. Further, whenever an official asks for clarification of an invoice, a prominent member of the community cries “racist”, threatens to run a media campaign exposing the racism at the heart of the administration, gives the AG a ring, and that is the end of that. You have to admire their ruthlessness in guilt-tripping the white liberal bureaucrat, the invoices got bigger and bigger each year. As Ayaan (and other Somali professors have confirmed), defrauding the government is considered a cultural norm and a way to get ahead. Members of the community even bragged about “American money” funding the insurgency in Somalia itself or funding the political campaigns of the Somalian diaspora in other African nations.[34]
This facilitation of the corruption by servicing an immigrant minority is what Professor Gad-Saad, himself a refugee from the Lebanese Civil War, describes as “suicidal empathy.”[35] The Western mind with its post-Christian values of mercy, natural law, political pluralism, freedom of speech, liberty of conscience, a respect for the individual, and the freedom of thought, is unable to understand that there are cultures so different from itself that would consider such Western “virtues” as weak and unvirtuous.[36] To exploit your naïve benefactors is the morally commendable imperative, you support and defend your people, your nation at their expense. Minnesota was to be co-opted as part of a Greater Somalia. In other words, the great rights we grant to the immigrant by means of our Constitution and “due process”, become the means by which you destroy your own nation because the immigrant has an incommensurable worldview.
More generally, to the Islamicist, once the host nation of America or of Europe has been fully Islamised (Islam has become the majority community), there would be a single opportunity to convert or to be executed, prohibitively taxed, or enslaved. Islamic theology allows a special tax to be levied on unbelievers, who become “infidels” when they refuse to convert. Infidels are free to be used as slaves if they are not executed, as the Yazidi women of Iraq found out when ISIS committed genocide on their community when they refused to give up their Christianity; if not executed like their men, they became the sex slaves of their captors. As one apologist has put it, Muslim communities are very concerned over minority rights, and will agitate aggressively for them until they become the majority; they will then impose their way of life on the minority—Islam literally means “to submit”—if Islam really is the word of the supreme God Allah, then that is indeed the correct logical imperative, the only response of a human being to the declared will of God is to submit to it.
In other words, Islam views itself politically as theocratic, not democratic; all human life is subject to the will and explicit, direct rule of Allah. Again, I might be prepared to acknowledge the formal correctness of the Islamic logic, it might be argued that the history of Israel in the Hebrew scriptures where the religious cult was instituted was also theocratic, many passages where God gave the Law to the Hebrews is suffixed with “I am the LORD” which basically meant “I am the supreme boss and discussion of this matter is foreclosed.” However, in stark contrast to Islam, the Hebrew scriptures distinguished modalities of human activity from the divine (where God declared how people were to worship and serve him) and the LORD himself instructed His people to “govern themselves” in civil matters, with a clear three-tier legal judicial structure. This is why the framers of the American constitution arrived at a separation of powers and the tension between the different arms of government, deriving many principles directly from the Hebrew texts. It is also of no surprise that the modern democratic movement did not, contrary to the argument of many secularists, take its inspiration so much from the absolute and chaotic democracy of Ancient Greece via the secular Enlightenment, but in the republicanism that emerged from the Christian Reformation began by Luther and Calvin.
In contrast to the liberty flowing from the Christian tradition, there really is a pattern of cultural degeneration that has been seen throughout the world in nations that Islamise. Here in the UK, we have parents marrying off their underage daughters to relatives in Pakistan. This is again something I have personal experience with. When I was 17, I lived in a hostel for homeless young people. Whilst on a training course for working with youngsters from troubled homes, I met a sensitive, beautiful Asian young woman. She lived in a hostel close to us with twelve other Asian women who were all runaways from home to avoid being married off to relatives in Pakistan. Similarly, we have “honour killings” so frequently they never even reach the news. When I was studying in 1992 for an MSc in Electronic Engineering, one of the Doctoral students was a Muslim from Birmingham. He introduced me to his girlfriend who was from the same community and ethnic group as him but was from a Sikh family.
We had many discussions about the ins and outs of Islam out of hours, but I learnt that he and his girlfriend had to keep their relationship secret when they had joint community events together because, at the very least, they would suffer ostracization from their communities as they would be viewed as “disgracing” their families. In such cases, it was perfectly permissible for either family to kill their offending family member to “recover the honour” of the family. Another friend of mine from sixth form[37] was a Hindu woman, we met a few years later in the local rockers bar and she told me that she now had to live apart from her family and community because she had refused to accept an arranged marriage; a brother would kill her if she “embarrassed the family again.” It must be emphasised that these were at least second-generation immigrants, people that were born here but whose own community rules and laws were of more importance and more binding than British law.[38]
Perhaps the most present current scandal is that “grooming gangs” have operated for decades with virtual impunity within the Muslim communities where the perverse logic is that the infidel, predominantly white girls can be used to fund the Islamic cause via the proceeds of prostitution.[39] It is culturally so toxic that successive governments just ignored and buried the evidence. The lack of action by police examined in previous enquiries, all of which failed to satisfy victims because they “whitewashed” the findings in some way, nevertheless did identify that it was frequently attributed to the fear of being called “racist” that prevented the allegations from being investigated properly. Finally, in 2024, after allegations that this may have been happening for decades, and after what was perceived as various sham reports and cover-ups since the Rotherham grooming gang scandal of the early 2000s (no prosecutions were undertaken until 2024), an independent inquiry was announced, but it stalled because survivors withdrew because of their mistreatment during the proceedings and the chair resigned amidst controversy. It is still delayed, https://youtu.be/c-URRFPbjrc . The reason for this is not difficult and is line with the thesis of the essay, this is an enquiry into a voting bloc of the ruling party, they do not want it to proceed in any way that would compromise that support. Recent allegations are that the current mayor of London is involved in a cover-up of grooming gangs operating within the city.
Admittedly, the “Islamic cause” is rather loosely conceived here as to increasing the political influence and power of those from historically Islamic nations and would have very little in common with the piety of some genuinely religious within those Muslim communities; it would be difficult to conceive of Sufi Muslims endorsing grooming gangs or opiate production.[40] Yet, the practice of “doing evil that good may come” is well mandated within modern Jihadi Islam, the Taliban and ISIS funded themselves by providing those they wish to conquer with a plentiful supply of opiates to aid in their own destruction and dissolution. “Jihad” means “holy war” and for the jihadist, it is the sacred duty of every Muslim to carry it out.
Again, as a matter of personal recollection, at the time of the 9/11 attack against the US, the BBC toured Whitechapel market (a Muslim area in London’s East End) trying to find someone who would condemn the attack. It has stuck with me since then that no one interviewed was prepared to condemn it. The community are taught how they should think—they think in the interest of the Muslim community. That is their duty. Around about the same time, I had a taxi journey (very rare for me, so I remember it) where the driver informed me of some remarkable information, if I saw the aerial with a small black flag on, that was an Al Qaeda supporter (Muslim drivers, in his words, would “flood the ranks” at certain times), and that Muslim drivers had been prosecuted because they were caught on camera in the train station celebrating the 9/11 attacks.[41] In the British cases, these prosecutions were buried and extremely secretive, not wishing to inflame “community relations” with the police even protecting a celebration of the attacks, a year later, with a 500-strong force protecting the notorious Finsbury Park Mosque.[42] Similarly, during the time of the ISIS caliphate, an estimated 250 000 British Muslims left to fight for them; to die fighting for Islam and against the infidels is, after all, the highest honour. The promotional videos aired on Lebanese TV showing the 20 virgins that could be yours in a future life are out there!
In a similar vein, I was working a contract at a college in 2006, where three of the team members had just left the military (one was a senior officer, the other two were regular soldiers). They had seen real action in Iraq, and had come back, seemingly to me, as raging anti-British Muslims; I had never seen that before. On asking them why, they related to me that they were taking heavy fire in a district, eventually they overran the building and were going from room to room kicking in doors and finishing off the opposition who were busy shooting at them. On kicking in the doors on one floor, people started shouting at them in English, “Do not kill me, I am from Blackburn, I am from Burnley…” These are towns in Northern England which have wards which are almost completely Muslim.[43] What had really got these guys was these were people who had been born in England to immigrant parents, but their loyalty was to Islam first, not to their country of birth, they had even fought with the country’s enemies.[44]
In such regions, English is not spoken there, and schooling is often parochial in practice in the so-called State schools in addition to the religious instruction many of these communities give after normal school hours.[45] My Mum worked at a school in a middle class district of Leicester, where in the space of a decade, they went from predominantly English, to almost completely Indian subcontinent (Muslim/Hindu/Sikh). Their biggest challenge was the need for interpreters, English was not spoken or understood. White English are now a minority in Leicester, decreased from 51% in 2011 to 40.9% in 2021. In other words, 10 out of 100 “native” white residents of Leicester have been “replaced” in just a decade, Leicester South is now 37% Muslim.[46]
It is of no surprise then that we see so much extreme Islamic violence now in the UK. It must be understood that the Jihadi version of Islam is by far the dominant ideology in Islam today, as evidenced in the pro-Palestinian movement that erupted amongst the Muslim diaspora in the Western nations that chanted “globalise the Intifada.” That means purge (i.e., put to death) the planet Earth of the infidels—those who refuse to accept Islam; it is the sound of the Muslim revolution, and the revolutionary aspect is why it has so seamlessly dovetailed with the Marxist revolutionaries, the Red-Green alliance. However, once the West has been burnt down, there is every probability these revolutionaries would turn on each other, “the enemy of my enemy who is my friend” is only my friend until the common enemy is vanquished.
Violence is the way to solve disagreements in Islam, the HAMAS charter explicitly states that “Jihad”, not peace conferences or treaties, is the way to solve disputes. The radical Jihadist respects the strength alone of an adversary, and it is perfectly acceptable to use lies and deception when negotiating with the Western enemy weakened by their moral scruples.[47] Thus, the Iranian regime was happy to string the West along regarding its nuclear programme, even up to the moment Trump took direct action. It is notable how after this show of raw power, the planned public execution of 800 dissidents arrested during this last wave of unrest, was cancelled after Trump said, “you do that, we are coming for you.” This puts the exclamation point on our assertion above, only power is respected by the Jihadist. Until we understand the utter incommensurability of the Islamic worldview with the Western worldview, we will squander billions by giving aid to Palestine (which HAMAS used to build their military infrastructure) and welcoming those into our country that will destroy it.
Of course, it is interesting to consider in more detail as to why the Left came to favour and facilitate mass immigration, and to linkup with Islamic revolution. Historically, promoting immigration was not necessarily part of the ideology; as is oft neglected in the current Leftist consciousness, Barack Obama “deported” over 6 million “illegal” immigrants, far more than previous Republican presidents.[48] Just this week (Jan 21st, 2026) a speech about illegal immigration was circulating online that people had assumed was Trump’s, it being characterised as racist and anti-immigrant. In fact, it was a speech that had been made by Obama from 2010. At this time, illegal immigration was frequently viewed by the Left around the world as capitalist exploitation by the importation of cheap immigrant labour at the cost of the native workers. Similarly, 20th century Leftist orthodoxy had always asserted religion of any kind as a mental illness, echoing the words of Marx and Engels in the Communist Manifesto, the “opium of the people.” [49]
So, what caused the change? Well, the clue is in the change that happened on the Left, the Left as it became globalist and internationalist lost the allegiance of the national citizen working class that had been its traditional base. Those working classes began to move progressively rightwards in response to the devastation of their communities caused by the outsourcing of their work in these last thirty years.[50] Again, this was vivid for me, I can remember working a contract in 2003, leaving work on a Friday, having a week off, returning to work to find that virtually the whole team had been replaced by Indian contractors—you could employ ten Indians for the price of a single native born; the economics for a company 30 bn in debt (as the one I was working on contract for) was compelling, as it was for many a multinational eager to boost its profitability.
Of course, with such a policy you have to disregard the massive hardship that was caused to the native workers by this decision to outsource, and the entire contractor community within the industry I was in went into decline and recession for the best part of seven years. Our Left-wing government absolutely decimated the sector by the decision to embrace this outsourcing model, and we were even lectured in a global email by the “diversity champion” (his official title) at the company how it was “racist” to criticise this model. Even now, despite the rebellion of the public at large against certain manifestations of this policy [51] that caused the underlying globalism in the public square to retreat somewhat and rehabilitate its image, many indigenous workers left those sectors for good. Only in Trump’s second term and “America First” have we seen somewhat of the reversal of this new normal in the interests of the native worker.
Thus, for the Left, recession and decimation were a necessary sacrifice for the goal of international reconstruction, and by 2013 the attitude to immigration had to dramatically change as these traditional working-class bases were hollowed out and the “Rust Belts” of many a Western nation did precisely that, rusting out as work was outsourced overseas and the communities abandoned too often to unemployment, domestic violence, drugs, and alcohol abuse. The white working class were abandoned, becoming progressively disillusioned with the Left and were starting to reorientate towards the populist Right. Thus, for the Left, a new constituency and voting cohort was required to replace those uneducated racists—enter the immigrant—legal and illegal.
This reached fever-pitch as Trump came on the scene in 2016 with the white proletariat firmly and overwhelmingly in his corner, Trump’s first inauguration speech famous for the words “you who have been forgotten are forgotten no more.” To displace Trump required a massive new cohort; the rural, uneducated white man was irrecoverably racist, and the Left had become the party of the wealthy, the educated, the academic, and privileged elites who now had an active contempt for the white working class that the politicians had previously depended on for their powerbase. Hilary Clinton notoriously described them as a “basket of deplorables” and it is now standard fare amongst the Left to declare that a “lack of education” and “racism” is the explanation as to why rural white America (and not just white, but Hispanic and black men[52] too) vote for Trump.[53]
That is, in summary, immigration represents a fresh cohort of voters to maintain their influence and powerbase. All the rhetoric, accusations of racism, agitation, violence, and international unrest can be explained through this lens. So, in Western Europe, and in my own country, immigration is facilitated by any means necessary. There has been a whole cottage industry of small inflatables coming across the English Channel for the last thirty years transporting illegals in addition to mass legal immigration from the EU. There were massive waves of legal immigration from Eastern Europe when the EU enlarged in 2004, 2007, and 2013. The Schengen protocols meant that free movement within the bloc was possible for all full members and move westwards in Europe the joining Eastern European nations did at the first opportunity after enlargement. For example, I can remember watching documentaries where whole villages in Bulgaria and Romania had emptied (with the exception of the occasional elderly resident), with their destination of choice—the UK. With its lax asylum regime and generation access to social benefits, it was the ticket to paradise.
However, it was also incredibly offensive to the native British public. In 2013, in an attempt to appear more right-wing than he was, the then Primeminister David Cameron said something similar to “it was every East European’s dream to make the trip to the UK, and we needed to limit the number of immigrants from the new members.” He failed spectacularly as both legal and illegal immigration increased during his tenure as it did with every “conservative” premier in the years to follow despite every one of them campaigning explicitly on this very issue of “stopping the boats.” The British public voted to leave the EU in 2020 but still the political classes resist the clear will of the people by increasing illegal immigration after this time.[54] They had, and have, no political will to deal with the problem; hence, the rise of the populist Right, despite active attempts by the leaders of the political Left in Europe to marginalise and discriminate against the parties and figures associated with this continent-wide movement.
In France, this attack has been blatant on leader of the National Rally party Marine Le Pen, who received an enormous vote in the French Presidential elections but has been in a legal fight over the “misuse of EU funds.” In Germany, the AfD (Alternative für Deutschland) have been accused (predictably) of Far Right extremist links and was classified (pending appeal) as “right wing extremist” which is an attempt, in the words of its leader, “to ban the party through the back door.” Orban’s Hungary pays a daily fine to the EU of €1 million per day in response to a refusal to open its borders to asylum seekers. Italian Primeminister Giorgia Meloni, who came to power on the back of unrest over Italy being one of the major entry points for illegal immigrants and asylum seekers (there is little difference between the two now, as “claiming asylum” initiates a Europe-wide legal process[55] that prevents deportation), has faced consistent opposition from the European Court of Justice (ECJ) in attempting to secure Italy’s borders as the first point of contact for many irregular immigrants to Europe.[56]
The contrast with the Left in Europe could not be greater. The Spanish Primeminister has just paroled 500 000 “illegals” with the explicit aim of shifting the electoral balance in the favour of the Left, “Right now, Sanchez is in a very difficult position internally, but he also knows the only way he can survive is by shifting to more leftwing positions that will allow him to absorb the electorate of the smaller parties,” Simon explained in The Guardian. Though Simon argues this is pragmatic (Spain has one of the lowest birthrates in Europe), and a repeat of a “successful” policy in 2005,[57] it subverted the democratic process by being issued as a “royal decree.” Simon also ignores Sanchez’s “principled defence” of the open immigration position, this is a matter of ideological commitment, and the clearest statement yet of the Leftist orthodoxy that is battling for supremacy in the US. It is of no surprise that Sanchez argued his case in the New York Times.[58]

(The caption here reads ‘No human is illegal.’ The holder has learnt well how to bypass the legal processes of immigration by the use of a Leftist meme. This could have been seen in any city in the West. In my view, the contrary is true: only a native-born citizen has the unqualified status of ‘legal’ in any nation of laws; by default, anyone who enters by any means other than the legal ones is “illegal”.)
Under Sanchez’s model as implemented in the UK, immigrants make landfall or are picked up by coastguard or navy when they are in difficulty, claim asylum (unlike in the US, you can claim asylum even if you do not enter at an official port of entry), are housed at enormous taxpayer expense in hotels, fed, and given social security benefits. A network of charities ensures these newcomers are aware of their rights, specialist lawyers billing the taxpayers through our “Legal Aid” scheme ensure that they get legal representation to fight any deportation or repatriation efforts, and they are instructed as to how to get their social benefits. This small army of specialist immigration and asylum lawyers leverage activist judges who then prevent the deportation of those caught in criminal activity after they arrive.
Sounds familiar, the world over, does it not? To illustrate the scale of the problem and the dereliction of duty, the two figures below are the official government statistics for net migration that show migration, in (immigration) and out (emigration).[59] Both graphs show an avalanche from 2020, despite so-called COVID restrictions, a pattern repeated throughout the West, i.e., a deliberate and coordinated operation by Western governments to shift the world to global government by minimizing the ethnic differences between nations and thus facilitate the removal of the traditional Western values which emphasise individual sovereignty against government sovereignty over the individual.[60]
The top figure shows that emigration has stayed virtually constant whilst immigration has dramatically increased and accelerated since the mid-1990s, becoming catastrophic in 2020. This is a major demographic shift as we saw in our earlier discussion. In other words, the response of the British political elite to Brexit was to import in a fresh cohort of immigrants that could tip the balance back in favour of the EU. Our present Primeminister and Chancellor (no. 2 in British government) are doing everything they can to rejoin the EU[61] and subvert the will of the native British people. The middle figure below shows the overwhelming influx of non-EU (think, worldwide Muslim) immigrants since the middle of 2020. This is the hard, empirical evidence of the “grand replacement theory”, should any be needed.

This final figure concentrates on the “irregular”, i.e., illegal immigration. As you can see, this is predominantly Muslim immigration. The government sophistry here is also in evidence to try and minimize the impact of these figures. They changed from the stack bar chart of previous years to a line chart to obfuscate the enormous scale of the problem (add the individual totals in a year to see this):
Now to our final argument, what makes this so morally repugnant to me is that this demographic change is at the native citizens’ expense and the government is prepared to find the funds to massively support the results of an illegal trade, when all kinds of other social and educational projects in the nation are starved of funds. It really is the case that both the illegal and, to a lesser extent, the legal immigrant, have obtained a special favoured status with respect to the state because they represent the key to power for the Left. Just because someone is classified as a legal immigrant under current conditions does not necessarily mean they are a desirable immigrant, the chronic lack of vetting of those admitted as legal is shown in the vast number of asylum grants (up around 500% to 40503 since 2020).[62]
The illegal immigrant especially (between 10–20% of total immigrant arrivals), has obtained a position more prized, privileged, and valued than the citizen and those who have fought to make the nation what it is. When you have 100-year-old veterans of WWII describing the country that they fought for is worse now than it was then, you realise how deep the betrayal of the basic Western values by these politicians has been.[63] When two Afghan “refugees” can rape a minor and their lawyer can claim “cultural differences” in their defence, and as we have argued in the course of this essay those differences are undeniable, the necessary and obvious conclusion is that they should not be here in the first place. Individuals should only be allowed to settle here once they have been thoroughly vetted, have obtained work (rather than enjoying a government stipend or benefit), and have proven to have been law-abiding citizens. If, for example, activists like Eva Vlaardingerbroek can be excluded from the UK on the grounds of “not being conducive to the public good”,[64] criminal illegal aliens are surely firmly in that category.
This is to be the case even if we are to accept, as is argued in the US for example, that migrants commit less crime per capita than native citizens. This is difficult to establish from British data but in the UK on the roughest readings of official statistics, still around 20% of crime is committed by people not born here. [65] It is utterly repugnant and reprehensible that it seems to be the acceptable “collateral damage” on behalf of the revolution for the Leftist globalists in order to facilitate undocumented and illegal immigration, that citizens are made victims of crime and in now all too common cases, serious sexual assault, and gratuitous homicide. [66] We then also have to endure the ridiculous spectacle of judges blocking deportation of people after sentences have completed, owing to some “risk” or “danger” in that return. The taxpayer in those cases will be paying for their legal defence, and their accommodation in lieu of the deferred deportation. Even if that were true, and it is incredibly dangerous for an immigrant to return, that is their responsibility, not ours, and the result of their actions. Whilst we might need to be granular in how we treat serious crimes from low-level theft or so-called “victimless crime”, deportation, as a rule, should be automatic in the case of immigrant crime; we have enough homegrown criminals, we do not need to import them. Unlike other forms of crime, migrant crime is unique in that it is 100% avoidable to us as a nation.
It is a requirement of a civilized nation that we do have compassion and grant shelter to those that need it, and we may have a national need to support immigration for skillsets that we lack. However, that should be at the behest of the citizen and not subject to the abuse and disarray of our processes now. Even if, for example, we have the need for doctors and nurses but at the weekends they are marching for HAMAS and making Tik Toks asserting they would kill Jews if they were at their hospital; they should be on the next plane home. I saw one of those videos in a streamed discussion between Israeli and Gazan doctors, still in their scrubs; I know, personally, of another doctor here in the UK, who’s daily habit is to post in support of HAMAS and the “genocide” in Gaza—despite that the Iranians have probably killed more protestors in the last few weeks than Israel has killed in two years of war.[67] We do not need to, by choice, to be inviting this mentality and bigotry into our culture. Similarly, we also see the ridiculous “nurses” videos in the US advocating all kinds of unpleasantness (including “bleeding them out”) against ICE officers; thankfully, most of them are now fired, but is notable that radical activist public school teachers have not been.[68]
We must not put up with these anti-social and anti-Western value sets and worldviews to address our labour shortages; we need to look for alternatives—why not start with better native education and vocational programmes? As Governor DeSantis of Florida observes, “decline is a choice” and Leftist policies always bring decline and violence, responsible for at least 100 million deaths in the twentieth century,[69] justified in the name of the “common good” and perfectly paralleled in Islam’s intolerance of the “infidel.” People can smell decay which is why they are haemorrhaging from Blue to Red states and providing the stimulus in those Blue states to unfettered replacement of population by immigration. Make no mistake, the Minnesota situation has done us all a favour, the inflection point of our civilisation is upon us, the “barbarians are at the gates” and we must not, like the Romans, be more interested in the Olympic games and our entertainments than in defending ourselves.[70]
So, in closing, misplaced empathy will mark the end of our civilisation; the West will destroy itself unless we arrest our politicians and reclaim the power as citizens and go through the pain of deportation and denaturalisation of those who hate us and everything we stand for. In contrast, we believe in free speech, freedom of conscience, freedom of religion, a basic equality between the sexes (whilst recognising functional differences), a freedom to own property, and to work and enjoy the fruit of our labour, all free of unnecessary governmental interference. That is what we are fighting for.[71]

[2] Evidence now allegedly points to an American billionaire living in Shanghai as the most likely source of the funding. This billionaire has a long history of supporting Leftist NGOs and has ties to the CCP. He claims in this case that he is his “own man” and is not doing the bidding of the CCP; that is, if he is supporting the agitators, it is because he believes in their cause. Other billionaires have made no secret of their support of violent Leftist groups, and billionaires Melinda Gates, Sam Altman, and Bill Ackman have all publicly supported the agitators associated with the anti-ICE activity.
[3] Like many Western countries, the alleged standard in custody cases is the “best interests of the child.” In the US, less than 25% of men are able to win custody of their children because the mother is assumed to be the “primary caregiver” and there needs to be a strong reason for that not to be the case, see https://oxlawfirm.com/are-mothers-more-likely-to-win-child-custody-during-a-divorce/.

[9] Unlike the UK, “mayors” are not primarily ceremonial but extremely powerful in the US. There is no one more powerful within an American principality than the mayor, subject only to the authority of the State governor (as Mamdani is discovering).
[10] The situation is slightly more nuanced than this. Although Minnesota at the State level has never declared itself a sanctuary state (unlike California), many of the cities and counties have with the acquiescence of the Governor’s office. In other words, this has allowed the governor to claim the State does cooperate with ICE; it is the city and counties which do not. This is a bit of smoke and mirrors; it is precisely the unwillingness of the local jurisdictions to hand criminal illegals over to ICE which led to the escalation and the 3000 federal officers being dispatched to Minnesota.

[23] Formally, non-citizens in the US are not able to receive social security benefits. However, so many exceptions are now possible, the simplest workaround is if a “family” has a child after arrival who is then automatically an American citizen (what is known as “birthright citizenship”). The family as a whole can then access social security benefits. In the UK, such benefits are simply made available through various legal programmes and asylum provisions already in place.
Mrs Thatcher removed birthright citizenship for the UK in 1983 over concerns regarding its abuse (as well as dealing with issues regarding ‘marriages of convenience’ where it was possible once to marry a citizen and take a fast track to citizenship), but official workarounds and shortcuts to citizenship are now available for the children of illegals—all it takes is seven years of continuous residence, it being “unreasonable” for you to leave and that you apply before you are 18-years old.
[24] As in California, a one-party Democratic Party state (gerrymandering has ensured almost zero Republican representation despite there being around 40% Republican voters in the state). This was a very recent change to boost the turnout for the Democratic Party in the State with the largest non-citizen population.
[25] This was also the case in the UK until the last election cycle. ID requirements have now been introduced in response to illegal immigrants having far fewer scruples about leveraging the political processes in their own interests by any means necessary (unfortunately, a familiar theme of this essay.)
[26] The requirement to show an ID to prove citizenship to vote in national elections is currently strongly supported by the US population but strongly opposed by the Democratic Party which is now controlled by the radical Left. It is notable that President Obama has also indicated he is against the measure. It was during his second term, that the “deporter in chief” had to contend with the new Leftist orthodoxy of facilitating immigration (legal and illegal) into the US. We discuss this in more detail later.
[27] Like many psychologists have pointed out, this is a contrived category and an incoherent concept, a pejorative being invoked when someone objects to some aspect of Islamic culture or practise. Someone who passionately opposes Islam on a reasoned, theological basis (or any other rational basis for that matter) is not ‘Islamophobic’ any more than someone who objects to the excesses of historical Roman Catholicism is “Catholicophobic”.
[28] I clipped a report at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LLa4kqtx3k that makes precisely this point, a single institution repurposed for housing immigrants contains 800 young, single men. It has been located in a totally inappropriate, rural location and exerts a chronically detrimental effect on the local community.
[29] This election was a reflection of the absolute shambles of nearly 14-years of ‘conservative rule’ where the Conservative party was conservative in name only. People wanted a change and they only had two choices, not vote or vote Labour in protest. Our extremely restrictive voting system inflates the share of seats that a party can get if it wins constituencies, regardless of the share of the popular vote because a vote is never transferable or being able to give any preference.
This prevents the influence of minor parties in obtaining representation in parliament until they get around 30% of the popular vote. Farage’s Reform-UK is now beyond this threshold and may well displace the legacy Conservative party as the main right-wing party in the UK. In many respects, Reform-UK is similar to what the Conservative party was during the Reagen-Thatcher era.

Others, it has been reported, were actively harassed by the governor’s office.

The apostle Paul’s writing regarding the virtues of meekness, humility, and submission in communal and personal relationships was an anathema to the Greek mind, and utterly revolutionary, attracting the attention of Roman officials when dealing with the Christians. It is recorded in the reports of some Roman officials how they were so impressed by the peaceful Christian communities that they struggled to carry out their official orders to persecute, kill, and imprison them; some even adopting the faith they were supposed to eradicate.

Our present Secretary of State for the Home Department, Shabana Mahmood, considers such community courts perfectly acceptable whilst formally asserting the supremacy of the civil code.

This effectively became the Pope’s private army constituted apart from the control of the priesthood (who were prone to be more compromising and realistic when dealing with disputes and problems), and had it enshrined in their founding principles that it was okay to “lie” as long as it was “for the benefit of the Church.”
By extension, it became okay to torture, imprison, plunder etc. as long as it was “for the benefit of the church”—hence, the Inquisition in reaction to the Reformation. This was the environment that gave so many of the early Reformers their fundamental hostility to and rejection of the practices and institutions of the Roman Catholic church. Rather ironically, the Muslim “Moor” civilisation in Spain, lived peacefully alongside the Protestants, because both rejected the idolatry of the Catholic church, and both of them were wiped out in the violence of the Inquisition.
[48] There is an issue of nomenclature here, “deportation” is highly contextualised in the formal discussion and split into deportations (proper), returns, removals, border apprehensions and other apprehensions. Obama was considered hawkish on border apprehensions but over the course of his presidency removed far fewer from the interior, see https://www.migrationpolicy.org/article/obama-record-deportations-deporter-chief-or-not.
[49] There is some nuance required here. Lenin, at one of the first post-revolutionary conferences, received representatives from Muslim factions that were fighting for Islamic revolution in other nations. He argued that the localisation of the class struggle might mean that the revolution had cultural expressions different from the Bolshevik experience. It is also true that non-Marxist varieties of socialism often had strong links with Christianity; a subject I considered more closely in https://youtu.be/tOifrSHJOHk.
[50] Batya Ungar-Sargon tells this story accessibly and in great detail in her Bad News (2021), 978-1641772068.
[51] For example, when a customer “support” line is actually a call centre in another nation populated with those who can barely speak the language of those they are meant to be supporting. Many companies now explicitly advertise “UK-only call centres” though in the last month I have been transferred to two obviously foreign call centres suffering from this ancient problem. Another case has been with doctors and nurses who fail basic English literacy tests, the obvious question being how can someone effectively communicate with a patient if they cannot speak the language? Some have recently lost their positions because of the failure to demonstrate any competency to improve their English within some kind of probationary period.
[52] Trump received the highest vote amongst Black men since the early 1970s; it is a forgotten item of history that up until Nixon, blacks voted Republican and the first black representatives were Republican. The Southern Democrats were the Party of the KKK and segregation. Trump received the highest black vote even after Obama scolded them for not being prepared to vote for a “black woman”; black women still overwhelmingly voted Democrat. It was also notable that some border Hispanic communities voted almost 100% for Trump, when they had not voted for a Republican ever or since the mid-1800s!
[53] Ex-CNN anchor Don Lemon is particularly guilty in this regard in his reporting after his chronicling of the interruption of a church service. The sentiment is also seldom far from the lips of podcaster Jennifer Welch, called by some the Joe Rogan of the Left. The utter disdain for the white working class, and ironically for the legal immigrants and black men now supporting Trump, is preeminent in their thinking.
[54] The process for legal immigration has become more difficult, incentivising illegal immigration. However, record levels of both have occurred since
[55] This is still binding on the UK, despite Brexit.
[56] Both Hungary and Italy attempted to corral “irregular migrants” = “undocumented migrants” = “illegal migrants” into camps in which they had to stay until a decision on their claim had been made. These have both run up against the ECJ that ruled outright against Hungary, and made Italy’s proposition impossible to implement in practice, requiring the host country be “entirely safe and secure”, rather ironic as the very presence of the illegal immigrant is increasingly why it has become less safe.
[57] The last time such a broad regularization initiative took place in Spain was over 20 years ago, when the socialist government led by Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero issued papers for more than 570,000 undocumented migrants in 2005. Zapatero’s initiative was later found to be a success, resulting in a spike in Spain’s tax revenues and social security contributions, remaining to this day as one of Zapatero’s political legacies. [59] Being “official” statistics, you can imagine how much worse the real figures are, the country is indeed being plundered at the citizen’s expense.
[60] This was a policy of the Ancient Assyrian empire (c. 2025 BC) who intentionally mixed the peoples it conquered to minimise the differences in its provinces with the intention of promoting social cohesion. The reason the Samaritans were so despised during the time of Jesus was that they were the descendants of this mixture of Jew and Gentile, and so were considered “unclean” even though they predominantly followed the Jewish religion. As Solomon said, “there is nothing new under the sun” and the catastrophic failure of the policy then is being repeated now.

[63] https://youtu.be/xkngKr_DxD4 Special Forces Ant Middleton offers commentary on what the veteran meant in this video. Ant wastes few words in describing what the UK is facing as an “invasion” of our shores.
[64] This basically translates to anyone the government does not want to admit for any reason, especially if you criticise immigration policy as in Eva’s case. The government’s official guidance, replete with the wonderful words, “The test is intentionally broad in nature so that it can be applied proportionately on a case-by-case basis, depending on the nature of the behaviour and circumstances of the individual. What may be appropriate action in one scenario may not be appropriate in another. All decisions must be reasonable, proportionate and evidence based” is found at https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/suitability-non-conducive-grounds-for-refusal-or-cancellation-of-entry-clearance-or-permission/suitability-non-conducive-grounds-for-refusal-or-cancellation-of-entry-clearance-or-permission-accessible (Yes, the URL is really that long.)
[65] Crime statistics broken down by demographic are found at https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/crimeandjustice/datasets/crimeinenglandandwalesannualsupplementarytables . Table A1 is of interest here. These datasets are arranged so as to obfuscate rather than clarify patterns, and are hard work to interpret—often there is a bold line which is the aggregated figure and it is sometimes broken down by category underneath, but understanding how weightings (biases) are applied and the holes in the data, even how the data is collected and then all the problems with the integrity of the collectors, where some have a vested interest in showing declining crime rate and are less than honest in reporting it (as we saw in Washington before Trump asserted federal authority over it).
[66] One tragic and too common a case now in the UK is documented by Tommy Robinson here: https://youtu.be/yo_O0OcRnYo. Tommy is one of the few to have stood unashamedly to expose the complicity of our politicians at importing people who have no respect for the traditions or culture of our nation. Unbelievably, the person murdered here was working serving at an accommodation centre for the immigrant who followed her to the station and then assaulted and killed her. He then went to the pub, got drunk, and was caught on camera dancing around the town. Unfortunately, we have no death-penalty in the UK, he merely got a 29-year minimum term life-sentence for gratuitous murder. Tommy made the point he will probably join a Muslim gang in prison and milk the system inside; some of our prisons have become notorious because of the accommodations made for the Muslim brotherhood.
[67] There was to be a mass execution of 800 dissidents live on Iranian state TV until Trump threatened the regime who then backed down.
[68] To march 7-year-olds around the playground with placards chanting anti-ICE slogans or singing pro-immigration songs is indoctrination, not education. Even at high school level, encouraging “walkouts” and “days of action” is ill-advised, “you sow the wind, you reap the whirlwind.” I can remember my politics teachers at sixth form (17 years old for the rest of the world) ensured their own views were so difficult to discern, they encouraged us to dissect the issues rather than endorse a particular position. That is responsible teaching and real education. Even my radical English teacher, never mentioned anti-nuclear demonstrations (a big thing when I was young) until after I graduated, “we need you there” were some of his final words to me; I was a radical anarchist once.
[69] That is a generous low-ball estimate, others would put it nearer double that amount.
[70] On the very day that the barbarians, Goths, and Vandals attacked the city of Rome, the residents were so apathetic they remained at the Games rather than rise to defend their homesteads. The Western part of the greatest empire the world has ever seen, collapsed.
[71] Rubio’s speech at the Munich Security Conference reminds us of this.

Abbreviations:
TDS: Trump Derangement Syndrome. Now, an official mental illness, suffered by individuals such as Roseann (Rosie) O’Donnell. Symptoms include:
- Calling Trump a Nazi/Fascist/Hitler/Putin-lover.
- Leaving the USA to live in Europe to “get away from Trump” only to then pontificate on US-cable/podcasts about how evil Trump is from over the Atlantic.
- Selling your mansion and estate in LA for many millions, moving to Europe, only to buy another mansion in LA for an even greater price than you sold your old one.
It is a particularly pernicious disease, Rosie revealing her therapist directed her not to post anything about Trump, but she could only manage half a day before she caved.
NGO: Non-Governmental Organisation. Once considered benign expressions of charity, but many are now co-opted to do on behalf of what the government cannot do because of constitutional restrictions and democratic accountability. Many now receive the massive majority of their funding from the government (in the UK many NGOs might be called quangos or just charities). As someone has noted, an NGO that would cease to function if its government grant is terminated, is not really an NGO but an unofficial extension of government. The USAID outgrowth of the State department, served as NGO in chief before Rubio sorted it out.

Alex Pretti: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c62r4g590wqo
Renee Goode: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c1jepdjy256o
Both of these are British accounts but could have been copied and pasted from CNN; they perfectly capture the normative view and narrative curated by and for the socialist Left. They are apologetics regarding their actions, rather than making any assessment of their conduct in the weeks leading up to the events that led to their death. Renee’s account is particularly hagiographic, the caption underneath her photograph reading “award winning poet”—not wishing to diminish the prize, but it in 2020, she won an undergraduate prize. When I was 14, I too got a prize from Colne High School for writing a poem based on Pink Floyd’s ‘Time.’ I would like that to be part of my epitaph too should I ever obstruct a federal officer and they shoot me dead.
On the way to a second American Civil War:
A position argued by law professor Claire Finkelstein in https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2026/jan/21/ice-minnesota-trump. The CBP App ‘scandal’:
How an app was abused to parole in illegal aliens from “inadmissible countries” (i.e., those normally excluded over ‘national security’ concerns).
It might seem a ‘scandal’ to us, but it was just an expression of the open border policy and the political decision to import in a new voting base.

Grooming Gangs scandal inquiry delayed again:
Was Obama really the ‘deporter in chief’?
Recent right-wing coverage of Obama accuses him of more deportations than Trump. This is correct but has a nuance to it. In his later years Obama dramatically reduced interior enforcement (what we might refer to now as ICE operations) whilst remaining hawkish on the border apprehensions. He came to understand the important of co-opting this group already within the interior. See https://www.migrationpolicy.org/article/obama-record-deportations-deporter-chief-or-not.
The Betrayal of the Working Class by the New Left
“Marxists” have always been internationalist in an ideological sense (‘workers of the world unite, you have nothing to lose but your chains’) but were often nationalistic in the functional sense, e.g., French communists were known for their committed defence of the French working class and its interests; Liberation movements were normally localised. As we discussed, socialism became ideologically committed to global reconstruction and internationalism, it abandoned its traditional base of support, the national working class.
Batya Ungar-Sargon tells this story accessibly and in great detail in her Bad News (2021), 978-1641772068 and her Second Class (2024), 978-1641773614. Though this focusses on the US working class, it is readily transferable to most other Western nations.
British Government Stats
These are the raw datasets that form the basis of the government narratives within the official government stats found on both https://www.ons.gov.uk/ and https://www.gov.uk. Ons is the place for research, gov.uk has become the propaganda arm. They are useful to the statistician who can expose the sophistry of the narrative built on them.

When the illegal immigrant is valued more than the citizen
