These are two audio recordings by the late Roger Price<\/a> (d. 1987) of Chichester Christian Fellowship which go into detail regarding the controversies around the biblical book, the Book of Daniel<\/a>. It is controversial because of its prophetic nature which describes in remarkable detail the rise of Alexander the Great, and the legacy of that conquest. Owing to its pinpoint accuracy, 19th century textual critics refused to accept it as written in the Babylonian captivity by the Daniel of the captives elevated to the court of King Nebuchadnezzar II (according to the biblical narrative). This is an extended and powerful argument for it being written exactly when and where it says it was written\u2014many of the arguments of the 19th century critics were overturned with new archaeological discoveries and textual research during the 20th century.<\/p>\n
